Our Upholstery Shop has been active for over a year now, and Krystal is understandably proud of the designs she has achieved. High quality materials and professional workmanship combine to produce luxurious and comfortable interior packages which can be customized to your individual taste and needs.
All the materials we use are flammability tested, approved and certified to the requirements of FAR 23.853. The following pages illustrate the quality and value built into all of our upholstery items.

In order to give our seats and panels extra character and stability we sew a 1/4" foam-backed 'scrim' material to the leather. (other coverings available) This provides firmness, smooth contours and extra softness to the touch. It also presents a sculptured look without being overly bulky. Side panels are attached to brand-new polyboard, which is very light weight, stiff, and will not shrink or deteriorate like the original cardboard backing.
When covering the seats, particularly the seat bottoms, three different densities of foam are used, soft, firm, or very firm. According to your personal preferences we will typically combine the different types to create a cushion that feels firm initially and soon softens to contour to your body yet supports with definite comfort. The scrim foam attached to the seat cover material adds the extra softness creating a very inviting seat.
Custom Fit Carpet
We custom-fit every carpet piece. After measuring, cutting and fitting the various carpet sections to your airplane we then 'serge' all the perimeter edges with a tough yarn to apply a professional finished appearance and prevent fraying and loose threads. Additionally, cutouts for antenna connections are carefully located and then serged by hand, as are the rib cutouts at the rear end of the main carpet runners.
With special measuring procedures we install new upholstery snaps to match your existing snap locations. Once snaps are installed and verified, new plastic foot pads are sewn onto the carpet to look exactly like the original components.
All carpets now will fit snugly front-to-back as well as side-to-side.
Glareshield Treatment
We'll remove the old cloth or tattered covering from your glareshield panel and recover the metal with a new thin-layer vinyl material. Holes are cut out and dressed for you to install our 'NEW' defroster vents. The speaker is put back on. This material with its soft black color will retain its appearance and smoothness for many years. Because of its thinness it's easy to locate the mounting holes for attachment to the panel eyebrow
